I am David Wilson, Founder and Lead Coach at Dominion Street Coaching.
I work with professionals who want to succeed—and stay there.
Over the course of my career in law and finance, first as a partner at Simmons & Simmons and then as Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, I have seen first-hand that achieving senior roles is only part of the challenge. Remaining effective once you get there is where the real work begins.
Too often, development at senior levels is inconsistent or left to chance. Many advisors bring elements of what is required—but rarely the combination of coaching expertise, psychological insight, and direct experience of high-performance environments.
That is the perspective I bring.
Most coaching helps people get there. I help them stay there.
I provide executive coaching tailored to senior leaders and their teams, including partners in professional services firms, general counsel, board directors, and senior executives across the private and public sectors.
I work with clients at two critical stages:
In a confidential and objective environment, I support clients in navigating complex challenges, making better decisions, and maintaining effectiveness over time.
My work is typically focused on moments that matter:
The emphasis is always on clarity, execution, and sustained performance.
I am a Henley-certified Executive Coach, a CEDR-accredited Mediator, and an experienced Chair and Non-Executive Director.
My background spans senior roles in law and finance, working in demanding, highly regulated environments across multiple jurisdictions, including Asia and the Middle East.
I have extensive experience working with senior stakeholders, advising at C-suite level, and leading global teams.
This experience informs a coaching approach that is practical, grounded, and relevant to the realities my clients face.
I am a member of the Association for Coaching, the pre-eminent professional body dedicated to promoting and regulating best practice and raising awareness and standards of coaching worldwide. I am certified by the triple-accredited Henley Business School, renowned globally for its postgraduate training and am a Hogan certified assessor, which allows me to bring those complementary psychometric skills to my coaching practice.
I draw on a range of established coaching frameworks, psychological models, and—where appropriate—psychometric tools, including Hogan assessments.
Each engagement is tailored to the individual. Where useful, additional input such as stakeholder feedback can be incorporated to support development.
The focus is always on what is most effective for the client in their specific context.
I believe clients are capable, resourceful, and able to find their own answers when given the right environment and challenge.
My role is to provide that environment—combining support with constructive challenge—so that you can develop clarity, confidence, and resilience, and sustain your performance over time.

Engagements typically begin with a chemistry meeting, followed by a structured programme of 6–12 months, depending on the client’s needs.
We agree clear objectives at the outset and review progress regularly. Coaching is primarily conducted face-to-face, with additional support as required.
The focus throughout is practical: helping you address immediate challenges while building the capability to sustain success over the longer term.
